The Huffington Post, Skoll Foundation and Half the Sky Movement are teaming up to Invest in Women who Change the World. On April 24, they're launching the RaiseForWomen Challenge, a fundraising Challenge to help female-focused charities gain recognition and resources. And, they're giving away $100,000 to causes like yours.
Using the CrowdRise platform, the RaiseForWomen Challenge is a campaign where charity teams compete with each other to raise the most money for their cause. The top three teams will win grand prize donations for their charity...
The Challenge starts on Wednesday, April 24th at 12:00pm ET and runs through Thursday, June 6th at 4:59:59pm ET.

So amazing that you want to participate in The RaiseForWomen Challenge. Here's what you have to do to make it happen...
Thanks so, so much.
Challenges are amazing for motivating your supporters to give to your cause and become passionate advocates for your organization.
CrowdRise has run several Challenges like this in the past and the results have been really amazing. Over the holidays, The Mozilla Firefox Challenge raised over $1 million for charity and, only weeks ago, the JobRaising Challenge, sponsored by The Huffington Post and the Skoll Foundation raised over $1.2 million for charity. And, all of these numbers exclude the seed money from Firefox and the Skoll Foundation. Pretty awesome.
If you're planning something this Spring or around Mother's Day, you should definitely incorporate it as part of this campaign. And, if you don't have something planned, this is an incredibly cool event to message about.
The 1st Place winner of the JobRaising Challenge, Randy Lapin, chief philanthropy officer at JVS, said:
…[the] challenge provided a fresh way to inspire supporters to give and encourage them to ask people they know to give. You can only do so many chicken dinners.”
In addition to the grand prizes, participating charities will have the opportunity to blog on The Huffington Post bringing massive exposure to their cause throughout the campaign. Plus, they can earn extra prizes based on how much they raise. Any charity that raises the amounts listed below gets the corresponding prize, as well as all the prizes up to that point. For example, raise $2,000 and you'll get a Facebook post and a tweet from HuffPost Impact.
